Bettye Muller is a shoe-fiend-shoe designer, which is the very best kind of artisan. Bettye has traveled all over the world looking for inspiration. Her shoes are made in a small artisan factory in Northern Italy. Originally a graphic designer, shoe model and budding actress, Bettye started consulting for the shoe and giant Caressa in the early 1980s. She went on to design for labels including l'Emporio, Henri Bendel and Perry Ellis and eventually struck out on her own in Miami, Florida. In 1997 Bettye relocated to New York City and launched her business. Today her shoes, under the Bettye Muller label, can be found in the chicest boutiques all over the world.
